Things To Include In Your Gothic Wedding!
“Sometimes it’s the little things that mean the most!”
Today we are diving straight into some incredible ideas for Goth-themed weddings. When we think of gothic weddings, what often comes to mind are items like human/animal skulls, beautiful dark red roses, black dresses but there is a whole lot more. Here we are showing you some great ideas that you could include in your gothic wedding.
Alcoholic Shots
If you’re planning on having a wedding without children or would like to give your adult guests something to remember, then these little potion bottle shots are a brilliant gift to give to your guests. What else is cool about these is they would make a great keepsake for you and your guests. You could even get the bottles personalised with the guest’s initials if you’re adding these to a gift bag.
Candle Holder DIY
This is an excellent centrepiece to add to your reception if you’re working with a tight budget or fancy doing some table DIYs. A very simple way to create this is to remove all labels of a wine bottle or any bottle of choice, find yourself a matte spray paint that is suitable to apply on glass (colour of your choice) and spray. To make your centrepiece even more special, place the candle unlit on top of the bottle and once you’ve entered the reception area, ask your guests to light the candle and by the end of the night see how far the wax has dripped on the bottle, creating this beautiful look.
Table Tattoo Corner
Are you a couple that is obsessed with tattoos? A great way to show your obsession is to create a little corner or apportion a part of the reception tables for your guests calling it “Tattoo Corner”. Give your guests and especially the kids the option to choose a temporary tattoo or tattoos of their choice. There are plenty of sites where you can find temporary tattoos available such as Etsy or Amazon.
Little Bat Cutout
Sometimes it’s the little things that mean the most, especially when it is as detailed as a cute cutout of a bat, which you can place on your guests’ forks. This adorable design can be a simple DIY if you are on a budget. If you’re feeling even more creative, you could create a few different small designs such as skulls or roses or favourite animals/hobbies to make it more special and momentous.
Personalised Jacket
Your wedding day is all about you and your partner; whether you’re wearing an outstanding dress or smart in your suit and we think leather jackets would be an amazing addition to your wedding photographs! You could find lots of distinctive jackets on Etsy, or if you could, do some DIY with leather fabric paint/pens to make it even more personal and fun for you and your partner.
So which idea would you choose? Would you design a tattoo corner for your guests, create personalised jackets or all of them! Let us know in the chat or send us a message via social media!
