It’s the season of joy, fun, and laughter. For some couples, it’s the season for even more joy as they tie the knot. Yes, Christmas weddings exist and can be an enjoyable experience. We’ve helped plan quite a few here.

There’s something about the festive spirit that makes Christmas weddings special. It’s like everyone comes to your celebration already full of good cheer, what more can you ask of your guests. The ceremony is more fun, the reception is a lively party, and everyone is delighted to be there.

Another factor that makes Christmas weddings special is the décor and it’s a great idea to take advantage of the season. After all, you can’t have a Christmas wedding without Christmas décor.

In honour of this lovely season, we’ve come up with some great ideas for tables. Your wedding guests will spend quite a bit of time at your reception tables, and it would be wonderful getting the décor right. Here are five classic Christmas themed wedding table arrangements.

· Make It Red

Is it Christmas if there isn’t red on your wedding table décor? There are many ways that you can use red at your wedding table. One of those could be with the colour of the candles you choose. You could also use a table cloth that features red for a nice touch. A lovely centrepiece filled with red cranberries could work some magic too. It’s a beautiful way to add that festive red tone to your table without going overboard.

· A Light Affair

Lighting up your Christmas wedding tables will take your wedding from standard to fabulous! There are many options that you could use to get this ethereal look. Candles, LED lights, and even fairy lights will work the magic. This idea works whether you’re having an indoor or outdoor wedding. You can also use a tabletop tree as a centrepiece for this Christmas wedding table idea. Picture how beautiful it would look with those lights wrapped around just like a miniature Christmas tree. It’ll save you table space too.

· You Can’t Go Wrong with Plaids

Plaid is a lovely pattern to work with for your Christmas wedding table. It brings fun, colour, and life to the design of any table arrangement. Applying this pattern to your wedding tables is also really easy.

Your table cloth, candles, and blankets (for outdoor weddings) can feature plaid. They’ll look really cool, especially if you work with red which introduces the festive spirit. Your centrepiece can also be a miniature tree decorated with plaid for this idea.

· Nature’s Wonder

Nothing can beat the beauty of décor that uses nature. They are always more authentic and look quite gorgeous alongside. So, our Christmas wedding table décor idea is not complete without some greenery. You can use everything from burlap to greenery, pinecones, and fruits.

Greenery is always a fantastic idea for a wedding table. It looks terrific in pictures, and many options fit right in with the Christmas theme. Some examples are mistletoe and pine. You could also add berries and eucalyptus to liven things up.

Complete this Christmas table look with a white lantern that features a candle wrapped in burlap. Your guests will be wowed, and your wedding table will have a whimsical atmosphere. This sort of wedding table décor is always praised as fresh and mind-blowing.

· Winter Wonderland

Long before Elsa and Olaf of Frozen stole our hearts, the winter wonderland table theme was popular. Who wouldn’t love the picturesque look that comes with draping your tables with frosty colours and décor? Photographers cannot get enough of this theme.

The key to achieving this look is working with lots of white and glitter. You can also include greenery or a pinecone or two for a bit of colour. However, the belle of the ball is a frozen centrepiece. Think of how beautiful a stem of rose frozen in ice would look as a centrepiece.

If you’re having an outdoor wedding you can use a rose in a crystal ball for the same effect. Your guests would love the effect and your wedding would look like a postcard picture.

Making your wedding tables go with the Christmas theme for your wedding is easy. All you need is your imagination and creative spirit. We’d love to know what you think of our Christmas themed wedding arrangements. So feel free to leave a comment.
