It started at London based Indica Gallery, where John and Yoko first met each other in November 1966 where the latter was preparing her art exhibition. There was a connection and less than three years later the iconic singer and his songwriter bride made it official on the 20th March 1969. They both dressed stylishly; Ono wearing a white mini skirt with tennis shoes and knee-high socks and Lennon in a white suit and mock turtleneck. After their marriage, they spent their honeymoon in Amsterdam campaigning (nothing says romance more than a protest!).

Elton and David met in 1993 when Elton had some new friends over a dinner party. David was one of those who attended and Elton was immediately attracted to him.

TOM HANKS AND RITA WILSON’S APRIL 30TH 1988
It was the early 70’s when Hanks met with Wilson, he was just 16 years old. In 1981 he got an opportunity to film with Wilson in an ABC comedy, Bosom Buddies. According to People, Wilson was a guest on an episode about a video dating service. Tom knew he felt an instant connection.
The knot was tied on 30th April 1988, Hank wearing a black suit with white tie and Wilson in a beautiful white short skirted dress and a beautiful long veil. Hanks had an interview in 2001 with his good friend Oprah and said “The success of our relationship was a matter of timing, maturity, and our willingness to have an intimate connection”.
